Beyond the world of moving images, Adnan Soykot finds inspiration in still visuals — a space where design, culture, and storytelling intersect. Deeply influenced by the artworks and visual sensibility of Satyajit Ray, Adnan explores the fusion of cinematic expression with graphic minimalism. His fascination with traditional Bangladeshi rickshaw painting, folk motifs, and cultural ornamentation often shapes his creative direction.
Though primarily a filmmaker, Adnan enjoys illustration and poster design as a personal creative outlet. He believes in the power of minimalist design where less speaks louder and frequently designs posters for Khirki Films’ productions as well as for other professional projects. While he does not claim the title of a full-time visual artist, this space reflects a side of his work that is driven purely by passion and instinct.
This section offers a glimpse into the visual world behind his films, from conceptual sketches to finished artworks. These are ideas that often begin as hobbies but grow into powerful visual identities.
